Here is my colorized take on a commonly colorized image of Newsies smoking at Skeeter’s Branch, St. Louis, Missouri, May 9, 1910.  at a time when smoking was cool, not surgeon general warning, until the mid 60s.  Original b&w photo photo by Lewis Hine.  Some liberties taken on the backdrop.
