Queen Elizabeth II in a ohoto session after her corronation in 1953
Colorized a vintage photo of Queen Elizabeth II in one of her post-coronation photo sessions in 1953. The Imperial State Crown she wore was priceless, but is now valued at over $1 Billion. The 317.3 carat Cullinan II diamond called Star of Africa is mounted on the crown. The larger Cullinan I at 504 carats is set on the scepter (not shown). Above the Cullinan is a 170 carat irregular cut ruby called Black Prince's Ruby. The coronation necklace has 25 diamonds, ranging from 8-12 carats with the 22-carat Lahore diamond as pendant.

Queen Elizabeth II, 1951
Colorized this from a photo by Yousuf Karsh taken at Clarence House London, July 30, 1951, six months before the death of her father, King George VI, when she suddenly became the Queen of England.
