Adrienne Ames (1907 - 1947), silent film starlet of the late 20s

Here's a set of colorized photos of American actress Adrienne Ames, who looked like a young Joan Collins. It was not a long career, just from 1927 to 1940 or just 13 years. During her last decade, she took more roles on TV and the radio and died of cancer in 1947 at the ripe age of 39.
