German POWs surrendering to the British, Netherlands, 1945

Colorize a photo of German POWs marching to their detention after surrendering their arms to the British somewhere in the Netherlands, May 10, 1945. Colorized in two versions, one with extensive liberties on the backdrop using early fall colors instead of early summer colors, the other in summer colors as it should be.

Colorized a photo of war photographer Don McCullin resting with the Delta Company, 1/5th US Marines, during the Battle for Hue, Tet Offensive, Vietnam. February 1968.  The moment was captured by Nik Wheeler, a photojournalist with him, and was used as the cover of McCullin's Book, "Unreasonable Behaviour"

Will do anything for love

Colorized an undated of of two love birds with some acrobatic feat for the man, possibly taken in the 50s.  Used extensive colorization and compositing to put details in an old grainy photo with obscured details.

Colorized a photo of 3 boys in New York around 1975, can be compared to my earlier colorization of 2 Newsies taking a break with pipes and cigarettes in 1910 here and two younger boys in Naples right after WWII here .

Colorized a photo famed thriller director Alfred Hitchcock wit composited promo still for his movie the Birds released in 1963.  The same photo was used in an earlier colorized work here but compositing the stills from his 1960 hit "Psycho."
