Finnish composer and violinist knolwn for his Finlandia  and Karelia Suites following the musical styles of the late Romanticand early-modern periods. Widely recognized as Finland's greatest composer and credited for helping Finland to develop a national identity through his music.

Not to be confused with a more recent Swedish-American actress Maude Adams who was known as a James Bond in the 1970 Octopussy.  The first Maude Adams. was an American actress who achieved her greatest success as the character Peter Pan, first playing the role in the 1905 Broadway production of Peter Pan; or, The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up..  Her personality appealed to a large audience and helped her become the most successful and highest-paid performer of her day, with a yearly income of more than one million dollars during her peak

Colorized photo of Lynn Merrick (1919-2007), Hollywood B-movies starlet of the 40s, posing as an Easter Bunny, ca 1946.  She was one of 13 women selected by the Motion Picture Publicists Association as a "Baby Star", to highlight the most promising new film stars. She made the bulk of her films during the 1940s, starring in 22 feature films for Republic Pictures; 16 of these were Don Barry westerns.
